Healthy Tips For Skin Care
I just had my obstetrics appointment last month and they found out that the skin in some parts of my body like my upper arms, upper legs and back has unexplained occurrence of inflamed follicles. They asked me since when did it appeared and I told them it was there after I had my first born until now. They asked me of symptoms, and I told them its itchy sometimes and they become red and bumpy when I rub it. They think this is just a skin problem that is not contagious as it is not spreading to my kids and to my husband. It may be some occurrence of acne or folliculitis that should not be ignored and they told me these following healthy tips to take good care of my skin:
- Use a hypo-allergenic soap such as Aveeno as it is approved by Doctors worldwide that it has natural ingredients that helps soothing allergic skin.
- Don’t forget to apply body lotion after taking a bath everyday to avoid dry skin and keeping it moist. Skin during winter tends to get dry and the air indoors doesn’t have moisture in them that is produced by the furnace. If the skin is still irritated, try using a humidifier in a particular place in your house that you usually use and rest.
- If skin problem still exist and if the follicles produce puss, schedule and appointment with a skin doctor and discuss some treatments like laser hair removal if the skin gets irritated by its hair.
At the moment, I scheduled a skin doctor appointment. How about you, do you have other skin care tips too?
