SAHM Tips: How to Avoid “Mommy Burnout”

Stay-at-home moms are not spared from “mommy burnout”. In fact, it is more stressful and difficult to become a stay-at-home mom rather than a working-outside-the-home mommy. To avoid the feeling of burnout and to keep your mind refreshed, here are some tips that you may want to try:

  • Enjoy a hot shower. This is very basic and simple and believe me a lot of moms fall into a routine where they forgot to take a shower and wear their favorite sleepwear throughout the day. There are days when taking a shower seemed to be very impossible especially if you are worried where to find faster payday loans.

  • Do not be stuck inside the house. Although there are tons of household chores to be done but it should not stop you from going out of the house. It does not matter whether you are just going to take a walk around the block or run errands outside; you have to go out of the house at least once a day.

  • Spend some “Me” time too. It does not matter whether the “Me” time is as short as a 30-minute coffee break or an hour of warm bubble bath. What matters is that you spend time for yourself too. It is also advisable that you squeeze in a special time with your spouse or partner alone. If you have kids, this may seem impossible but it is just a matter of time management.
