Strolling Around New York City

On the second day that we went back to New York City by train from New Jersey, we were able to do lots of strolling around the street sidewalks. We went first to the Philippine Consulate office to finish my business of renewing my Philippine passport and we planned to walk towards Rockefeller center plaza afterwards. It’s about 15 minutes walking between the Philippine embassy to the Rockefeller center. It is in the heart of the downtown NYC so the traffic is pretty tight. Many people prefer to walk rather than getting a taxi because the streets is also jammed with lots of tour bus and vehicles.

St.Patrick'sCathedralSteeples

I took a picture of this particular site where you can see the St. Patrick’s Catheral steeples. It is one of the large Roman Catholic churches here in USA. It has an impressive Gothic architecture. In front of it, which is on the other side of the street, is where the Rockefeller center plaza is located.

InterestingTallBuildings

I don’t know what this tall buildings are called but they are so interesting that I just took a picture of it.

HusbandAndFamilyFriend

There are lots of buildings under construction everywhere so I guess that’s a sign of positive progress that this famous city is doing well.
