Pinaupong Manok Dish or Sitting Chicken

One of the special dishes prepared during my family’s fiesta celebration last month is this Pinaupong Manok or Sitting Chicken. This is made of Native Bisaya Chicken meat in Philippines. So delish! It looks perfectly roasted but it’s prepared deep fried that’s why it’s golden brown in color. I remember my bro in law prepared a smoked beer can Turkey and it’s larger than this one. I liked the taste of this chicken better than the turkey though. How about you, do you cook chicken this way too?
