Happy Kid & Pancake Success
Little G is so happy holding his Rainbow Pancakes. We are surprised of how they turned out the first time we try them this week. There were 3 cups of flour, 2 eggs, half teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and water (I didn’t measure exact cups for water but I just poured some to make batter drip easier to the pan and that it will have no lumps) that we mixed to make the pancake batter.
Hot Pancakes, everyone?
I followed the directions at the back of McCormick’s neon color to achieve the color that I want but they were closer to a pastel shade so I added a few more drops of some colors to achieve the color that I wanted. The verdict is definitely to use the McCormick food coloring. It still has more drops that can be used to make egg dyes for this Easter. At the moment, we enjoyed making green pancakes and rainbow pancakes for Saint Patrick’s day.
