My kids were surprised to see a huge chicken and it turned out to be a turkey during our Thanksgiving dinner at my Mom in law’s house. We love eating the delicious home baked turkey! I’m so thankful to have a loving Mom in law for baking our turkey and that she and my bro in law did all the baking of the main dishes for the Thanksgiving celebration this year.
She wanted me to just bring salad and vegetables during the dinner. It took us long time to go to her house because we have to shovel snow out… Continue reading
A week ago, the Lowe’s guys came and peeled the old roof in the main part of our house. Our house has an extended section at the back where it’s roof needs to be replaced but can wait a little more. The main section is bigger and has a leak somewhere on top of our bathroom upstairs.
They found the hole and it’s bigger than we thought. No wonder our bathroom ceiling got big cracks and feel very cold last winter. I’m glad it’s all fixed now and the old roof is being replaced to a 25 year lasting shingles.… Continue reading
Whenever I go outside and when I surf in the internet, I always encounter people sharing different stories about their journey to losing weight. Losing weight seems to be a favorite subject that people likes to talk about lately. Every person has their own ways of doing it. Some want to lose weight quick and some want to lose weight gradually. It’s funny because it’s a subject that I wasn’t interested in before because I was very slim.

Flea can be a horrible problem during winter if you have pets especially cats. I remember last winter ours was a bad one because the cat that moved in temporarily in our house together with my family law had contact to a cat that is contaminated with bad fleas. We have to buy Flea powder and Flea fogger or spray to keep the fleas away on biting my kids and my husband. But if she comes back to our house, I will certainly have the outdoor cat house for her to sleep outside. I didn’t want to treat her… Continue reading
While Little G and Daddy were busy playing putt-putt, Little V and I are busy smiling and taking pictures. There is this cute bear statue and other garden decor in the Mini-golf at DQ. This little bear seemed to be smelling Little V’s ear. He seemed tickled, ain’t he cute?
Today will be a busy day for me. I have to go to the police station and get a police report copy of my lost wallet. It’s one of my misfortunes lately and I’m slowly recovering. It’s the one that’s been ailing me to do more blog updates in the… Continue reading
My 2 year old is very observant on what his 4 year old brother do in homeschooling. There are times, even for a few seconds that I’m away from Little G, Little V grabs the crayons and color his brother’s work. It gets messy sometimes and so I make 2 photocopies of each coloring pages that Little G is going to do.
I’m surprised though that at a young age, Little V is very interested in doing coloring art. At least it’s not very messy and you can identity objects in the picture. This picture is what he colored lately.… Continue reading
