Betts Park Garden
I am so happy to see spring flowers at Betts Park Garden. The master gardeners in our area worked hard on this particular area in Betts park. I remember it has one row of garden 5 years ago. Now it has 4 more rows of garden in it.

I remember it was a tulip garden the first time my husband took me to Betts park. It was so beautiful! I never dreamed of seeing tulips in a garden before as I can only see tulips in fancy flower shops in the tropics where I live before. I am always excited… Continue reading
Throwing Boomerangs
This Thursday, we went to one of the open fields in Betts Park and did something fun activity as a family. My bro in law went with us and brought us some boomerangs. My husband said it reminds him of his Dad who’s favorite sport is throwing boomerangs in this field.

They have been teaching Little G in throwing boomerang and Frisbee long time ago. I’m impressed of seeing him throwing boomerang so high and it did some turn. My husband encouraged me to throw a boomerang at that time but I am afraid that I might hit someone.… Continue reading
Inside A Ship
It was around 7AM that our ship is going to depart from Cebu. We took 2GO ship, formerly known as Supercat Co., and it is a nice ship for me. As for my father’s observation, he wasn’t impressed because he felt the ship vibrating while it’s engines are on. It makes him dizzy. For me, I didn’t mind very much of it. I like the huge windows because you can see lots of things outside the ship. You can see another ship parking on either sides. My kids really enjoyed watching outside the window. Little G kept on pointing at… Continue reading
Waiting For The Ship
We took a fastcraft type of a ship that will take us from Cebu to Bohol, Philippines. We stayed in the airport and waited 7 hours before the Cebu Port is going to open. We waited 1 hour in the passenger’s waiting area before the ship’s departure time. There is a Custom Check point before going inside the passenger’s area. They also have K9 dogs that will inspect each luggage and bags that you have. I noticed they are trying their best to make the passengers feel secure before going inside the building and on their trips.
This is my father, Little V and Little G in this picture. Continue reading
First Meeting With Grandparents
We arrived in Mactan International Airport in Cebu, Philippines. My parents was surprised that the Korean Air from Incheon International Airport is going to arrive one hour early than the time reflected in our itinerary. My arrival to Cebu the first time is smooth. I took my kids with me to the Immigration counter and our passports got arrival date stamps. I immediately took the kids outside the entrance door as I know my parents has been waiting for us there. We exchanged hugs and I let them took care of my kids for a few minutes because I… Continue reading
Calape Gothic Altar
The Calape church is one of the oldest church in Bohol, Philippines. The church’s outside and indoor structure are influenced to Gothic architecture. You can see huge pillars, high arched ceilings, and many intricate designs especially in their church altar. I never thought Bohol could have such an European style church design as most of it are Spanish influenced. The church patron in Calape church is Saint Vincent de Ferrer. It is where I named my second child because I like the story of this saint. I like to name my kids after Saints.
