Kids In Cool Rain Boots
It’s just one of those days, my kids and I went outside the house and walk around the neighborhood. They are excited to do this especially that they want to wear their new rain boots. I decided to buy them new ones because they like to be in the garden with me and it’s been overcast these days that might threaten to rain during our walks. Mommy has to bring the umbrella just in case.

These cute rain boots can be found at Walmart and they are under $20 each. My eldest chose the spiderman design and I got the… Continue reading
Kids Puttputt Fun
We had a blast playing mini-golf lately. My kids enjoyed it more and I love that the weather has been warm and friendly for us to go often outdoors. I love playing this game because it makes you feel relaxed and you can practice with patience. The rules of this game is to strike the ball with the club at least 2 to 3 times into the hole. There are lots of challenge on every hole though as there are obstacles and interesting paths that you have to figure out how to shoot the ball.

On every hole we shoot… Continue reading
Visiting Grandpa’s Grave
We are happy to see the newly installed tombstone at my Father in law’s grave a couple of months ago. My kids felt excited to see a nice stone at their Grandpa’s grave. It took them long time to put a tombstone there as raising money for it was difficult.

The cheapest tombstone was around $200 but it’s flat and laying on the ground. My husband’s family decided to have a tombstone for him that can be recognized easily. This medium upright tombstone was around $1500. Even though it’s that small, boy, it costs a lot of money! My Mom… Continue reading
Summer Camp Last Day
We enjoyed the three days that we spent in the YMCA Summer camp. The host was nice and very creative in making the Jump and Jive theme a success for the kids. Although there were three other kids who joined the camp, my 4 year old got to be friends with them so quickly. He learned his friend’s names and we got lucky that one of them is living 2 blocks from our house. The kids got a fun ride on the third day of the camp where the Wagon Man appeared. They got to ride in it!

There were… Continue reading
Fun Parachute Play
Another favorite activity that we did at the Y camp is this parachute play. There was this colorful vinyl blanket where the parents and kids get to shake it, move it up and down, sing nursery rhymes together as they go round and round and do a tent inside it. When it’s parents turn to lift the parachute up and down, the kids loves to get inside the parachute and look at the colors in there. The kids giggle and laugh, they really enjoyed it!

My son felt tired in this photo but he really enjoyed this activity as a result of that.
Frog Games With A Friend
My main goal that I let my son attended a summer camp is for him to meet new friends and enjoy the activities with other kids. There was this Frog games where you line up the frog color that you want and make it hop to the other end of the pond which is drawn in a piece of paper. The kids loved this simple game. The frog will hop once you press the button on it’s tail. They were able to learn how to sort colors, count the frogs and all that good educational stuff while at play.
