With the weather so good these days, who wouldn’t want to spend time outside? We have been spending fun outdoor activities lately. We have been into the nearby park a couple of times. George enjoyed blowing the dandelions. Vince just love crawling on the green grass. There were kids in the park and they love to hold Vince and play with George. George got to play with chalk art at our friend’s garage. It was colorful as the Daddy and the Mommy enjoyed their time playing with the kids too. There are just lots of stuff to enjoy outdoors these days. We have done a couple of times picnicking too. The smell of grilled meat and hotdogs was just fantastic and so delicious. Having close friends around us in those times makes the moment special. I took these pictures below and just hover on the pictures for the caption. Stay-at-home moms are not spared from “mommy burnout”. In fact, it is more stressful and difficult to become a stay-at-home mom rather than a working-outside-the-home mommy. To avoid the feeling of burnout and to keep your mind refreshed, here are some tips that you may want to try:

Enjoy a hot shower. This is very basic and simple and believe me a lot of moms fall into a routine where they forgot to take a shower and wear their favorite sleepwear throughout the day. There are days when taking a shower seemed to be very impossible especially if you are worried where to find faster payday loans.
Do not be stuck inside the house. Although there are tons of household chores to be done but it should not stop you from going out of the house. It does not matter whether you are just going to take a walk around the block or run errands outside; you have to go out of the house at least once a day.
Spend some “Me” time too. It does not matter whether the “Me” time is as short as a 30-minute coffee break or an hour of warm bubble bath. What matters is that you spend time for yourself too. It is also advisable that you squeeze in a special time with your spouse or partner alone. If you have kids, this may seem impossible but it is just a matter of time management.

How was your week so far, folks? I just couldn’t resist having to spend time with my kids outdoors these days. We have a beautiful Spring around us. My garden has some progress lately like my peas seedlings are growing 4 – 5 inches tall. It’s amazing what fun activities you can do outside. My kids enjoyed their time like I have Vince in this picture at a nearby park that has a very nice playground. He liked riding this car. Ain’t he cute?

My American Idol Fever

The top 3 has been finally revealed in American Idol this week. I felt very excited as my 3 idol singers, Philip, Joshua and Jessica are in it. I like Jessica a lot as you will never get bored hearing her songs. She has a way of captivating other people’s hearts that does makes me forget what I am doing and just listen to her all the way. For Philip, I like the performance he did this week. The stage set-up where he was using a k-m like microphone stand, the guitar and dim lights is just so perfect on his intimate song Volcano. For Joshua, the women on his background and his emotional song was just gorgeous, and his voice is what you are going to expect as he usually sounded that way consistently in his performances. For Jessica, she is extraorinary, she is just versatile to any songs she is going to sing. How about you folks, who is your best bet for the number 1 idol this season?

The Matrix

The other day, my husband and I together with my in laws, watched the first film of The Matrix directed by the Wachowski’s in 1999. This American Sci-Fi Action film rocks until now. Oh yes, it’s about Neo, right you are. The oh so handsome Keanu Reeves as Neo and her leading lady Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity. Amazing to look back on this movie because the first time I saw this was when I was in high school and I don’t understand what the story was about and all I just love to see is the suspense and the virtual world of it. It turns out that there is a Christian view about the movie, well, as I interpret it, Neo symbolizes like Jesus. If ever you’d like to see this movie again, just be aware that it is PG 13 and has violence in it that you need your kids and below to be baby sited by their Grand Mother or someone where you and your husband and other adult friends can enjoy watching.

An Envelope From PA

The other month, I received a bubbled envelope from my sister-in-law in Pennsylvania, U.S.A containing a lot of pictures of their place. This was taken during winter time. One of the pictures showed her husband digging the snow on their driveway using a shovel. I was wondering if they can bear always this kind of situation. So, during one of our long distance call with my sister-in-law, I mentioned to her about atv winch and other hauling materials where they can use during winter . I told her, they might need an atv winch if ever their car will get stuck on a ditch during a heavy winter snow. Her husband heard our conversation and became interested. My brother in law was so happy I gave them an idea about it and he was interested to buy one.
